Our Pensacola Pontoons family is proud to present our newest addition to the fleet! We brought home a new Bentley tritoon with stunning blue accents, easy to use navigation and fish-finder, Bluetooth stereo, and lots of storage just last week. She is 22 ft long with a new Suzuki. We found her up on Lake Lanier near Atlanta and made a family trip to pick her up. Then we had to try her out right away so onto the lake she went!
Lake Lanier is a reservoir that covers 38,000 acres and was built for flood control and water storage for the Greater Atlanta area in 1956. It is fed by the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers and has a maximum depth of 156 feet. Pensacola Bay’s max depth is 70 feet! There have been several world-class competitions held on Lake Lanier including the 1996 Summer Olympics rowing and sprint canoeing events. It is rumored to be the best location in the country for striped and spotted bass fishing and the day we were visiting plenty of fishermen were braving the cold to get their bite on.
Thanks to T & S Marine in Oakwood, GA for a smooth and easy purchase. We drove up on Friday, signed the papers on Saturday morning, explored the lake for the first break-in hours on the new engine and then towed her to her home birth here at Sabine Marina on Pensacola Beach.
Come see her for yourself, she is now tricked out with safety gear and available to rent. Get on out there!
